Here are your tasks as they are assigned to you.
1. Identify the state your football city is in, and locate it on a U.S. map. Keep the map for future assignments in this project. Due: 9/11
2. Know the score and results of the weekend game by each Tuesday.
3. Complete the season schedule for your team. Find the information on the NFL site by going to your team. Be sure to identify whether your team is HOME or AWAY and complete the scores each week as they occur on this schedule. Done in class, due 9/13 9:00 a.m.
Go to the link above, then to "SCHEDULE" / "REGULAR SEASON' / and locate your team.
4. Figure out and record in Daily Journal the statistics (mean, median, mode) for Week 2 game, winning scores. For extra credit in math, do the same with losing scores. (Week 2 Due Th 9/20, extra credit by Mon 9/24)
5. Locate and label the football cities on the blank U.S. map. Use the "Football Cultural Map" to help you, along with an atlas. Write in the abbreviation for the states these cities are in. Due Wed. 9/26.
6. Keep your football schedules, lists, and maps in a plastic sleeve in binder in Social Studies or a special football section for continued use and reference.
